Out of US has been recently declared as the world no1 infant formula company.MJ product range in Pakistan includes regular infant formulae, follow on formulae, special formulae for premature and sick babies nutritional supplements for pregnant and lactating women, children and patients during convalescent stage. Key products include Sustagen(nutritional supplement), Emphatic (regular startup formula) and O-lac(Lactose free nutritioanl for diarrhea and other stomach disorders).The major competitors are Abbot and Nestle.

During the current year are focused had been in adding products to the existing nutritional products range for adults, like Sustagen junior and mama Sustagen from the Sustagen family.Also products like Isocal. We are in phase of introducing Research products for patients suffering from different deficiencies, the product range includes MSUD Powder,Product 80056, MCP Oil and Sustacal.

Mead Jhonson being a research based company has a series of products in different categories of nutrition's and we have plans to introduce further products in the market. CENTEON:

Is the world largest company involved in products derived from human blood. The company was formed in 1995 by the Merger of Armour Pharmaceuticals, USA and Behiringwerke, Germany.Centeon offers a wide range of Human blood components products in highly purified forms.Product portfolio includes human Plasma substitute (Blood proteins) like Albumeom, Immunoglobulins(for the immediate treatment of various deadly infections) like Tetaga-P and Gamma-Venin and other specialties like Rhesogamma -P which is an anti RH factor used in pregnancies where the mother is Rh-ive and fetus is Rh-+vie to prevent abortions and miscarriages.

IBl Health Care has planned to register 14 products, 5 out of which have already been registered, 4 are under registrations and 3 have already been launched. The major competitors is Bayer biologicals. Centeon has recently introduced their new research product of Fibroglue, this new research will change the traditional concepts of surgery world wide. The Fibroglue therapy will replace the surgical suture specially in surgery of sensitive nerves. We plan to get this product registered in Pakistan and introduce the product. We foresee this product to be a great break through in introduction of Centeon products in Pakistan.

ORION:

is a Finnish company that deals in pharmaceutical like Antidepressant agents, Anti-anxiety products and anti-cancers. Orion is a research based company committed to provide quality pharmaceuticals. IBL Health Care has recently launched an anti-anxiety product named Alprox which is indicated in anxiety and anxious depression. Two products are under registration. Our major competitors is Xanax of Upjohn.

After close market research we plan to introduce Anti-cancer products, the process has already started and we got the three products registered with the Ministry of Health. We are hopeful that these products will not only add to the existing business of Orion but will become main contributor of Orion pharmaceutical sales in Pakistan .

EVANS:

from UK has been a major UK supplier of vaccines for more than 40 years and during that time has contributed in various ways to science and immunization.Tetanus Vaccine (used for prophylaxis against Tetanus) and BCG vaccine (used to immunize new borns against Pertussis) are the two major products of Evans. The major competitors is Pasteur Merieux.

We are in active dialogue with Evans and will be adding two new vaccines to the range.
The registration process for these products has been initiated.

SHERWOOD - DAVIS AND GECK:

of UK deals in medical disposables and sutures. D & G is the pioneer of surgical sutured and offer a wide range of natural and synthetic sutures.The major products is DEXON, a research generated sutures used in gynaecology, plastic and general surgery. In Pakistan IBL Health Care has already launved 2 synthetic and 1 natural suture namely Dexon, Surgilene and Silk and has registered 3 more products to be launched from next year.

The disposable product range includes Endotracheal tubes, Trocar catheters,Thoracic catheters, lung exercisers, folleys catheters, chest drainage bottles, urine collection bags and many other products. The major competitor in suture business is Ethicon and in the disposable business are Portex & Hudson.

INTERSURGICAL:

from UK is one of the best companies of the world dealing in disposable Respiratory Breathing Systems. They are considered as Respiratory System specialists and have a complete range of Respiratory System including the breathing systems, anaesthesia systems. bacteria filters, Heat and moisture exchangers and accessories like catheter mounts, oxygen tubes etc. The breathing filters by Intersurgical have no match and they offer highest protection against deadly infections like Hepatitis, HIV and tuberculosis. The major competitor's are Hudson and vital signs.

Support of training has been planned and will be provided by the Principals during next year onward which will defiantly result in increase sales in years to come.

TERUMO:

is a Japanese company which deals in products like Blood Bags, dialysers.Blood bags are used for the collection and separation of blood components and the dislysers are used for the dialysis in kidney failure patients. These products have uncompromised quality and involve Japanese Technology. The major competitor is JMS.

We plan to now focus in business of Blood Banking products and Dialysers, as these areas exhibit promising growth.

WALTER RITTER: is a German based company engaged in research and manufacturing variety of pharmaceuticals. They are known for manufacturing quality products. We have recently introduced their Diclofenic range of products including capsules and injections. The response received uptil now is very encouraging and we plan to add more of their products to our range.

LISA PHARMA: is an Italian pharmaceutical company engaged in manufacturing of products of second generations. We already got two of their products registered with Ministry of Health.

We plan to launch these products by mid next year.
